After completing Discover Mercy Village, this page will help you walk through the rest of our membership guide at your own pace. Each short video corresponds with key sections of the manual, and the attached resources let you read, review, and pray through what membership at Mercy Village Church means. Our hope is simple: that you would move forward with clarity, honesty, and joy as you discern whether God is leading you into covenant membership here.

Membership Video One

This video explains why church membership matters and why we believe it is a biblical, meaningful, and practical expression of life in the local church. It also gives a brief overview of how membership works at Mercy Village and points you toward our doctrinal foundations.

Membership Video Two

This video focuses on life in the body of Christ: practicing the “one anothers” of Scripture, investing our time, talents, and treasures, and pursuing wholehearted discipleship together in the local church.

The best places to follow along in the Membership Book 2026 are Section 1 — Discover Mercy Village, especially “Walking with One Another,” “Connection Opportunities,” and “Investing in the Mission (Time/Talents/Treasure),” and Section 4 — Membership Commitments and the Covenant Life of the Church, especially the commitments to walk with Jesus, live in community, serve with time and talents, and give generously with our treasures.

Note: The video mentions Section 3, but in the current Membership Book 2026, the most accurate places to follow along are Section 1 and Section 4.

Membership Video Three

This video explains why church governance and structure matter, how Mercy Village is ordered, and how members, deacons, and elders function together in the life of the church. It emphasizes clarity, transparency, accountability, and the protection of the people of God.

Membership Video Four

This final short video explains the membership covenant and tells viewers what to do next. It frames membership as gospel partnership, points people to the covenant near the back of the booklet, and prepares them to review it carefully, meet with a pastor, and sign if they are ready to move forward.
