Child Dedication
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth.
Raising the Next Generation in Jesus
Children are a gift of grace from our God. At Mercy Village, we believe that raising children is a sacred calling – a daily opportunity to display the love, grace, and truth of Jesus to the little hearts entrusted to our care. Our Child Dedication Service is not a baptism or a ritual that saves, but rather a beautiful moment where parents stand before God and their church family to declare, “We will raise this child to know and love Jesus, by His grace.”
It’s also a time when our entire church commits to walk alongside these families – to encourage, pray for, and support them as they nurture their children’s souls in the gospel. We celebrate together, pray together, and ask God to do what only He can: to awaken saving faith in the hearts of these children as they grow.
If you’re considering dedicating your child, we want you to know you’re not walking this journey alone. It would be our joy to stand with you as you commit to raising your child to know and love Jesus. To get started, simply download the PDF below for more details and then fill out the form further down this page. We look forward to celebrating this beautiful step of faith with you and trusting God to shape the hearts of the next generation for His glory.
