Devotional: Come and Rest
Matthew 11:28–30 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (ESV)

Jesus invites all who are weary to come to Him for rest. This rest isn't just physical relaxation, but a deep, soul-level peace that comes from being yoked to Christ. Reflect on the areas of your life where you feel burdened or heavy-laden. What would it look like to truly surrender these to Jesus today? Practice taking on His yoke by intentionally aligning your will with His in a specific area of struggle. Remember, Jesus promises that His yoke is easy and His burden is light - not because life becomes effortless, but because He bears the weight with us.
